Series Summary

Arts and crafts is the uniquely, easily available form of art that almost anyone can do. Unlike sculpting or carving arts and crafts usually only require supplies that most people have laying around in the house. The term “crafts” infers that many of these activities were actual professions at one time. The arts and crafts movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries really brought this art form to the forefront of the art world. The major difference in arts and crafts and other “professional” forms of art is that there are no accepted rules or understood methodologies behind arts and crafts. It's purely the idea that something can be created with what is lying around.
