"O.k., so we have our bag with our handle and our pocket. Now if you don't want an open bag, I'm going to show you one of the easiest way that you can make some sort of close for it. We're going to use Velcro. You can do a button if you want. Some sort of topical button would be the easiest and you could just do a granny square for a flap or you can just do a button right here to close. I like to use Velcro because it's easy. Now they also make Velcro in straps but I really don't like to use that because if I do it all the way across there's a better chance that at some point along the way it's going to pull, its going to tug, its going to come undone. If you have these separate little individual squares or circles you can add them on along here and pull at them at your will and really not worry about them coming undone. If one of them messes up it's easy to replace one. Where as if you have the whole strip and you sew them in, it makes it really difficult to maintain it and throughout the life of your bag keep it looking good and really allowing it to be useful and easy to use as your everyday bag."
