"Ok, now that we've got our first knot, to attach this first yarn here, what I want to do is I want to work down to get all of this flap in, so I'm going to stick my needle through there, look at it from the other side, pull all that yarn through, and to avoid a bunch of random stitches, I'm going to try to keep it mostly in the seam, on the front side, so there's not too much discoloration. There we go. It really blends in with the natural pattern that we made with the granny square. So now that we're back on this side, I'm going to stick it through this flap and get it right through the seam and pull it all the way through, and go right through there. Now, once we get to the seam, what I like to do is I like to sew up and down it, just all along the seam, to make sure I've got extra strength, around this seam, right here. So, I'm just going to keep going and don't be afraid to overlap. The more times, the better, so just keep pulling your yarn and move up on your seam and just poke it through. These needles are very handy for this type of work. Just pull it all the way through, and I'm just going to go up and keep it on my seam. I'm going to work like this, around my seam, for about eight to ten more stitches, just to add a little bit more strength to my handle connection."
