"What we're going to do now is we're going to do our border, and you can do this for as long as you want, depending on the way you want your border to look. And what we're going to do with our loop, from ending our last row, we're going to chain up just one, because what I'm going to change it to is just a single crochet, and you'll see how this is going to give it a different look. Now remember not to miss this first hole right here because what we're going to be working with, as you can see, this row of chains right here, and this is what we're going to be working with. We're going to be working right underneath it in these tiny holes right here. We're really going to just be grabbing our needle, putting it right here between these two loops, and you'll see it's going to give us a nice different effect. And remember, don't forget this hole, because this is what's creating our nice little seam right here. So we've got our needle through here, and you're just going to pull it through, and you've got two, and you're just going to pull it through there. You are just going to keep working around, this is really easy, you've got two, and pull it through, go under, and you've got two, and pull it through. And you see where it's much tighter and you're just kind of closing it up to where there's not so much space in between here, but it's just a really nice tight trim all the way around. And just be careful not to skip any chains, we're just going to go underneath there, we've got two, and pull it through, and you'll see we're adding another row of chains on the bottom of this hat. Try to make sure you keep your hand about the same as it was when you were working on the hat because you don't want it to be too much tighter than the rest of your hat is; you want to keep your same consistent tension. But just keep working around, and then when we get to the end, we'll check it to make sure we've got a nice, evenly tight border to go with the rest of our hat."
