"What I'm going to show you how to do now is another option in the trim. Also, because we're working in such an easy pattern that creates a row of chains on top. you could also intertwine this throughout the route of your scarf and intermingle it in your single, in your regular pattern. So, what we're going to do is add a new color. Again, what you're going to do is you're going to wrap it around your finger. You're going to get that neat little pretzel looking thing. You're going to take your yarn and use your needle to grab that piece of yarn right there and pull it to create our first loop. What you are going to want to do is you're going to want to go to the very outside to keep our borders nice and straight. Pull your yarn through there. We've got two loops. Then pull your yarn right through there and we'll get this new color connected to the end of our scarf. We're going to chain up two, because this is a double crochet. What we're going to do now is instead of working in their holes we're going to be working with this top row of chains right here. So, what we're going to do is with an extra piece of yarn wrapped around our needle we're going to go right underneath this chain. It's a little difficult to pierce through. We're going to pull our yarn right, oops, again, just pierce it through. Pull our yarn through. We've got our three loops on here. Pull yarn through the first two and pull yarn through the second two. Again, we're going to go right to the next chain. Pull it right through there. Yarn through the first two, yarn through the second two. You see this creates a slightly thicker, solid than this, this is two rows of a single crochet and this is one double crochet. Because of the nature of the columns that it it creates, it creates a little bit of space in between which compliments this in a completely different way. So, you can use whatever trim you like, but this adds a different look. I'll show you how we're going to finish out this first row."
