"Okay, now that we've been working on our next row, this would be the second row of our trim, I'm going to go ahead and finish it up, because this is all that I want. Again, you can continue as long as you want and do whatever you feel, it's completely up to you. But I'm going to go ahead and finish this up. So again, we're just continuing with the single crochet. I just go underneath the chain and I just keep working all the way across until you get to the edge. And, of course, it's very important to make sure you get all the way to the edge, because you want to keep these straight lines up that we worked on with our scarf. So you're just going to go right under there, pull the yarn through and we've completed this and so what I'm going to do is I'm going to pull the yarn out just a little bit to give myself a little bit of play to make sure I close it up the way I want to. Cut it. And with these two pieces, since I added a new color, I have this strand right here. And, whenever you have this option, this is very easy to make a secured tie-off. What you're going to do is you're just going to tie these two pieces of yarn together. But, of course, if you're using the same color or if you're working this into the middle of the scarf, again, you can weave it in and out underneath your chains. This is a great way to make sure it's secure. And I'm just going to knot it again and just pull it really tight. And then I'm going to cut that off and I'm going to leave a little bit just so I can make sure that I see what I'm melting. I'm going to take my lighter and, remember you're not going to put your yarn directly in the heat and again this is only for artificial fibers, anything that's synthetic, and I'm just going to melt these two ends together. And be careful when you touch it, it is hot. And I'm just going to press it down to get all those fibers to melt back together just so they'll kind of stick to each other so it's all just kind of one big, melted together blob. And they really can't come apart and that'll stay nice and tight for us for the life of the scarf."
