"Okay, we've finished our first row of our single crochet trim and now we're going to get ready to do another on top of this. So, I'm just going to flip the piece around so the other side is facing me, because we always work to the left. Now, with our loop on our needle, we're going to crochet up one because this is a single crochet. And what we're going to do, now that we have this nice easy row of chains, we're just going to stick our needle under that chain, pull it up and there we go. This is so much easier now that we have our chains established. So you can go for as many rows as you like, to add however nice of a dip effect you want, or you can interchange your colors if you want to go for stripes. And even if you wanted to do this in the middle of this double crochet scarf, you can because, again, whenever you're doing these patten like this, you have a chain on top. And when you have that chain on top, you can change it up as much as you want, as frequently as you would like. So just keep working until you get to the end. And then, when we get to the end, I'll show you how to close it up to go ahead and finish up the trim."
