"We've been working on our trim with our single crochet pattern. We've used a new color. You can see as we've been going along. Again, this is a great way to do a trim on a scarf like this because the pattern is so airy and holey and the single crochet is very tight and of course, you know there's no air getting through there. Now, to continue it, again, since we're using the beginning and not the end where the happy little chain is to make it easy for us to work. With the columns right here it's easier to stick your needle in the front and pull your yarn through there. Of course, I say it's easier, but it's really tight right here; sometimes depending on your hand. I just pulled it through a little bit too far. Again, with crocheting it's so easy to backtrack you really don't have to worry about mistakes too much. OK. So, there we go. We pull our yarn through. Again, I'm splitting my yarns. There we go. OK. We're going to pull my yarn through those two. I'm going to stick my needle just through a random place here. Get my yarn and pull it through and again stick it in front of the column, pull it through. Then when we get to the end it's a little bit tricky just because it kind of feels like a little knot right here. So, really once again you're just going to stick your needle where ever it will go, where ever you can find access. There, I found it right through there. Try to get it as close to the edge as you can. There we go. We've finished our first row on our single crochet trim. Now, if you want to you can switch out and add a whole other color, you can go back to the main color that you were using. What I'm going to show you how to do after this is how to start the next row just in case you want a nice dip effect on the end of your scarf."
