"Now that we have our completed square we are getting ready to add our border to make it look like this. You do not have to add a border but I do recommend adding some type of extra layer on the outside because when we get ready to connect our pieces it makes it a lot easier to do so. We are going to take our yarn and start it the same way, get our little pretzel going, okay. Just as before make sure you are facing the front and all these yarns are going in the same directions and I don't like to start around the corners or around the edge I like to start in the middle on the side and you are going to go through the front underneath that loop right there, pull your yarn underneath and pull your yarn through those two. Now what we just did is the same thing as a single crochet, so go under, pull your yarn through and then pull your yarn through the two loops and you are going to repeat this through every single loop all the way around, just keep going, under those two and then through your two loops, under those and then pull it through. This part is very easy and it adds just that little bit of extra detail to the pattern to make it look that much ore complicated and seem like you have put a lot of effort into it but this part is really easy. When you get to the corners have no fear it is exactly the same just keep going and make sure you don't skip any because then your border can be tighter and cause your granny square to curl. Just keep going all the way around until you reach the end."
