"OK. Now that we've completed our second row, I'm going to show you how to start the third one. So, we are going to flip our work over again. We're going to chain up one and up two. Again, this is to keep our sides in line and also to keep our level for our next row consistent. What we're going to do since there is a hole here we're going to put a stack right there. So, we're going to do the double crochet again. Then we're going to chain to skip the next stack and we're going to go right into the next hole. This is all you're going to do as you continue to work through the pattern. Just going to chain one to go over the columns that are there and then you're just going to go right into holes that you made for yourself on your previous row. So anyway just chain one to skip and then when you get to the ends you really just want to stick it right on the edge and pull your yarn through and do your double crochet to keep our edges nice and straight. Then you can keep working until you have a scarf that looks like this. Just keep going, make the scarf as long as you want. Remember, as you're making a scarf you really want to try and put it on yourself because you want it to be able to wrap around at least once and still have some length hanging down. So, depending on whom you're making it for ask them how long they want it. Scarves are actually much longer when you make then than they look when they're worn."
