"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Barbara Coradin with Energy Fitness in New York City and today I'm going to show you how to train for a marathon. Now for hamstrings stretch you want to separate your feet a little wider shoulder width apart, abs are in, back is straight, chest is open. You want to reach down, knees are slightly bent and that is hyper extend your joints, reach down, palms down on the mat or the ground you should feel the stretch in the hamstrings. You want to hold it there, hold it. You can also come this way stretching to the first point of tension in the inner thighs so you are holding, chest is open, switch sides, always keeping it easy.
