"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Barbara Coradin with Energy Fitness in New York City and today I'm going to show you how to train for a marathon. Just as important as your running for training for a marathon is nutrition. What I like to do is make sure you fuel, you have a 45 minute window after your workout, after you run. To refuel you want to combine it with complex carbohydrates which is pasta, linguine, potatoes, brown rice instead of white rice and high proteins. Very important as well is hydrating properly so the general rule of thumb would be drink water before, during, and after. Drinks such as what contains electro mites are also helpful to bring back to the body electro mites that we loose during running. "
