"Ben Gonyo here for Expert Village, we're going over how to build a kaleidoscope. Now we are going to go over where to get your supplies. I tried to make this tutorial as easy as I could, as far as where to get the supplies you use, or what the supplies are that you use. What I used to build the other ones with other peoples directions, some of the stuff was a little tricky to find whether it was the glass mirrors or petri dishes, so; I tried to find alternative supplies that would be easy and cost effective for someone trying to build their first kaleidoscope. Their probably going to get better as they go along, but they don't want to spend alot of money on the first one. I'm going to tell you where I got my stuff. This mailing tube, I actually got this at a UPS store and it was a buck. The glass, the pieces that were already cut, I actually got these at Walmart and they were less than two dollars. Then the beads I also got at Walmart, they were a dollar. The popcille sticks and markers I got at Micheals craft store, which was 2-3 dollars and the sticks, were 99 cents. That's about it. The rest of the stuff, the exacto blade, scissors, and glue gun I had. So, you're talking about under ten dollars. If you want to get a glasscutter that was five bucks. I think I bought one of those at home depot for five or six dollars a few years ago."
