"Ben Gonyo here with Expert Village, we're here going over how to make a kaleidoscope. Now that we have our mirrors installed in the tube and we have our lens end built, we have to make an eyepiece to cover up the mirror part. We are going to take a piece of black cardboard. You can use a regular piece of cardboard, you can color it, or you can get some black cardboard like this. Same idea as we did with the transparency. We are going to trace the tube and cut it out. We have our black cardboard end piece that is going to fit over the end. All we have to do is cut out a triangle eyepiece and then hot glue it onto the end. Now we have our black cardboard with the hole cut out and we're going to hot glue that into place."
