"Wolf Wind Walker here, Expert Village, cowboy action shooting. Here with William Waddy again. We're going to demonstrate techniques on the double barrel shotgun -- specifically his techniques. As he'll be coming to the shotgun, he does the same technique I do with my 1907. He pulls two shells. Now, he's going to pick the shotgun up -- he's going to pull it up to his shoulder. He has it staged on the rock so the trigger guard is right there. That's a requirement, that's a safety requirement. Same is with a rifle. If the rifle was staged here, the trigger guard would have to be on there. But that also gives him a good grip. When he reaches there, he pulls up, he's going to pull it up to his shoulder, and when he drops the shells in, he rocks the shells. Show them that shell rocking again. That's a key to loading a double barrel quickly. Brings up, shells are angled and he tilts them up, funnels them in the hole, slams it down. He closes it, and this particular double barrel doesn't have hammers on it, so he can shoot this one right away. He's ready to shoot. He's going to do the same thing again. He unloads, he drops it back, chucks the shells out, he goes up for his next load, does the same thing -- he's brought it back up to his shoulder, he's ready to shoot. All right, nice job. That's a quick technique on a double barrel shotgun, and you might not have been able to see the targets from all the smoke, but he hit everything, including the can."
