"Hi! This is Brenda and today we’re working on our cards using sponges. Now in front of me I have various little sponges that I bought at the art supply store and I'm going to take a 5x8 index card, fold it in half like this and I think I'm going to use my heart design heart today, it’s just a little spongy heart like I said you could buy at one of the crafts stores. What I'm going to do is I'm just going to randomly start to paint some red here on this heart with my brush like this trying to fill in all the little crevasses and this could be good for a Valentine’s Day card or a little shower card if you’d like. Just fill on these spots on the sponge area and I'm just going to make some random hearts like this and if I want to go back with another color I could do this and then I'm going to take a sheet of white paper and put on the inside so it would be covering up on the lines and I can write a message in there like “Happy Valentine’s Day” with my calligraphy pen or I can write a little note to someone and put it in a envelope and it’s ready to mail.
