"Hi! This is Brenda and on behalf of Expert Village I'm working today on our cards using sponges. We have varies sponges here in front that I bought at the art supply store, we also have sponges like from the kitchen but I think for this project I'm going to take one of my own sponges that I brought from the store and I'm going to use this little dolphin pattern here. I’ve got some blue acrylic paint that I'm using, need just a tab of water to make it a little more workable and then I have some 5x8 index cards here that I work with, this is what I use for the cards it’s a heavier stock and I like to work with that and just fold them in half and that becomes our card. You know when you go to the store and you buy cards they can get kind of expensive so it’s always fun I think to make your own cards and it’s original and on then back of the card you could put that you are the one that created it. So I'm just filling in like this with my little dolphin and I'm almost ready to stamp it on my paper and here’s my 5x8 card, I'm just going to fold it in half like this and I take the stamp that I just use to put our paint on, I'm just going to place it down like this, pressing it firmly to make sure all the paint gets on there, now I'm going to have to take just a little more paint because it didn't completely as you can see didn't completely fill in. So what we do we just fill it in like that, then if we want to we can make some waves, we can take some glitter later if we wanted to, I’ve got some gold paint we can like accentuate it like this, I'm going to make some little eyes here, you can just add something to insinuate, we can get our calligraphy pen, write a message on the outside like “Come to Billy’s Birthday Party” and write a message inside, let it dry and it’s ready for the mail.
