Paper Dolls: How to Make Dresses for Paper Dolls

" Hi! This is Brenda and we are working on our paper doll project. Now I think for this project we are going to make a dress. So what I am going to do is I am going to place my paper doll down on a plain piece of paper and this is going to be my template for the dress. I am going to begin to draw around the paper doll like this with a black marker in between the legs and around the side because in a few minutes I am going to be using this to cut from. So I am just drawing around the doll like this so this is what it looks like so far. Now I am just going to connect these lines like this. Mainly the important thing I am going to put some tabs so that I won’t forget to cut those out because in a few minutes when I begin to cut I am going to need something to hold this down with. Then we will just cut this out like this and this is our finished product and we just put in the doll like this. I have made some little squiggling marks and little designs and the little tabs as you can see, will be folded back like so and this holds her dress on. "
