Paper Dolls: How to Make Shorts for Paper Dolls

" Hi! This is Brenda and we are working on our paper doll project. Now today we are going to make some shorts for our dolls because we are going to pretend it is summer time. We just take the paper doll, piece of paper underneath and we just draw around the bottom part of her body like this. It looks like that and I just connect the top for her waist, the legs, put on some tabs like that will help us anchor. We use our markers, paints, crayons, or acrylic paint and paint what we like and here is our finished product. Here are her little shorts and we are going to put the tabs back to hold them on like this and we are going to choose a shirt that we did earlier and she is wearing red, white and blue for an outing on the lake.
