" Hi this is Brenda and we are going continuing with our stenciling project. You know as you walk around your home there are literally hundreds of places that you could put up a stencil and add a little extra to your home. I like to actually stencil on light switches such as this one here in the bedroom. Now I’ve chosen the light switch that I am going to use. I’ve chosen my stenciling pattern. I’ve got some low tack tape so that I can tape the pattern down to the wall. Low tack tape helps it come off easily and it does not take off the paint. For this project I believe I will choose the kitty cat. So I will just put the cat right here, position it over, put my low tack tape right here. I’ve got my acrylic paint already here on my plate. I am using black because I like black kitty. I’ve got my stenciling brush. I’m dipping into the paint. I’m not getting a lot of paint. I’m dabbing it off so there will not be an excess amount and I am about to begin my project. Now I am going to just come right over here and just do some dabbing motions such as this trying to get in all the little corners. You noticed that I am not holding the brush at an angle. I am holding it straight up. I’m just doing a dabbing such as this. I feel like that I’ve gotten in all the little corners. It does take a few minutes just to make sure. I feel like I am ready to take it off. Put my brush down gently. Gently taking this off and here I have my little kitty cat. Now if I would like to add eyes or whiskers I could do that with another color paint. Maybe white or if I want to leave it like this and my cat is ready. Don’t touch it for about an hour or so and then you are able to switch on your light switch as usual. "
