" Hi this is Brenda and we are talking about our stenciling project today. After we got our stenciling project, it is very important to do a clean up. Our stenciling template such as this one here probably will have quite a bit of paint on the leaves where we have been stenciling so we have a little soapy water. We just start wiping gently to get rid of this excess paint that we have on our stencil. This way it will be ready for the next stenciling project that we have. As you can tell, it is coming off on our paper towel. We keep doing this until we feel fairly sure that the template is free from the paint that we used today. Then I let it sit out for a little while let it air dry maybe for a day and to keep it straight as it is I like to place mine in a telephone book or between something that is heavy to keep it straight for my next project. Now my brush also needs to be cleaned so we dip that in our soapy water also and make sure that we get all the paint, you can tell it is coming off in the water here, and we get this paint brush very very clean because if we don’t the next project that we have, the brush will be very stiff and won’t be very easy to use. I like to use several brushes when I do my painting and that way I don’t have to stop and clean a brush and use it for another color. I like to use several brushes for each color and that way it does make the job easier. "
