" Hi this is Brenda and today we are stenciling on a metal folding chair. The first part of our project is to decide which stenciling template we are going to use. This has several on it. This sheet does so I believe today I am going to choose the little Scottie dog template. I’ve got my white paint here, got my folding chair that I got at a garage sale for a good price and I am ready to begin the project. Now I noticed a few minutes ago when I placed my template on the chair because of the bow of the chair, that this wasn’t really a good match so I’m going to move over to the corner where it is more flat and my template will lie flat and I am ready to begin the project. Now the paint that I use today I can either use acrylic but I chose actually a latex paint so I am taking my paint on my stencil brush, getting off the excess like this because we don’t want too much paint on our brush and I am about to begin. Now I’ve laid this flat on the chair. I am going to use the little Scottie dog as I said earlier so I am just going to begin to dab. If you feel more comfortable taping down your template that is perfectly fine to do. I am just using today for time sake just to hold the template on like this but if you rather you can certainly tape it on and that way it is more secure for you. So I am just dabbing and dabbing like this. Now I am ready to lift up my template and see what my project looks like. "
