"Hi this is Brenda and today we are working on our pop-up cards. For this project we will need our 5 x 8 index card which is a heavy stock material. We need glue, markers, scissors, rubber stamp if we would like, stickers or pictures from a magazine. We take one of our sheets of the index card like this and fold it in half. We take one of our markers and on the folded ends of the plain side are like this and I am just drawing two rectangle squares like this on the inside. Then we would take our Exacto knife and we would cut around not completely but like a little window. We will only cut on 3 sides and this will be our finished product like so. We have a little window inside here. Our under liner sheet which will be going in the back and hide the cuts like this. We will be gluing that in. It is also 5 x 8, the under liner sheet. You can draw something in the window if you like or put a little message. This one says thinking of you that you could send to a friend. I used rubber stamps that you could later use either markers on to color in or colored pencils or crayons. If you don’t want to use that, you can use stickers. So the little window opens like that. These are fun for children too to maybe write their name in the window or secret little message for them. "
