"Hi this is Brenda and today we are working on our pop-up cards. This one today is a little whimsical card. It’s a mouth with a little message inside. We just need some 5 x 8 index cards that you buy in the school supply store and we need some glue, acrylic paints, marker, scissors and ready to begin. We take our 5 x 8 card and we fold it in half. On the fold side here, this is where I am going to make my first cut. Cut into it just like this about an inch and then I fold over a little triangle like this. The other side I fold another triangle which kind of looks like a collar. Then I fold both of them back. They are still retaining their shape as a triangle and looks once again like this. Now I open this up and this is what is going to become our pop-up card. Now I also need to say to you that we need to cut out a sheet of paper same size 5 x 8; just a plain sheet of paper and can be any color. This is going to be our under liner later to cover up our cuttings. So we take our card that we cut earlier. We just pinched these two little points here like this, pinched them together and pressed them down like this so that the card has this shape to it. When we open it up as you can tell this is our little mouth that we are going to be using. Here is our finished product. I drew a little girls face on here with pink lips and I wrote hi over here or you can write any message that you want to. When our recipient opens it up, she’s got a little girl speaking to her and giving her a message. "
