"Hi this is Brenda and today we are working on our pop-up cards. There are a lot of different ways that we can embellish our cards once we have made them. This is one that we made earlier, the little bell here and let’s say we want to add just a little extra touch to it. I have an old pencil eraser and some acrylic paint and I am just dipping the eraser like this. You don’t have to be real artistic. Just kind of make it like a border. You can do this in different colors and it makes just a kind of a different effect in case you just want something a little extra added to the card. Now let’s say for instance also we would like to add some ribbon. This is another earlier card that we made, a pop-up card and say we would like to tie this with a different color of ribbon or an added effect. You can use any color ribbon that you would like. You just make a bow like this. You can write the persons name on the front in calligraphy. Something like this or if you want to use maybe a roping, a raffia. You could tie it off and once again, it just adds a little extra touch. If you buy these pop-up cards in the store, they can be quite expensive. So this is something that you can say that you made yourself and it doesn’t quite cost the same amount that it would be if you bought from the store. This is just a little added extra to the touch.
