"Hi there on behalf of expert village.com my name is CandaceCopeland im here today sharing with you my passion for rawhide art. I started out with native americans, because that what ridehide seem to be, it just let itself to that. And then I venture off one day with a paticular piece of art i have of this incradable goddess, and so i don't know which came first but we'll start down here, this could be like white buffalo cat women in her white buck skin dress, the blanket strip, her beautiful head dress that like her hair feathers, a beautiful pull shell earring, and little necklace made out of heshe beads of red coral and red silver. and this one has a lot of spirit pieces in it, there is the guardian angel, there is a russian orthodox cross, there is an egyptian onx, there is a heart in here somewhere, and there is a bird here a dove flying, a peace dove, and you just keep finding more marvelous little secret things, i just couldn't leave this one alone. then i decorated her with an actual leather dress, again this is all rawhide, but i wanted to have the dress separate, so i made the dress out of buck skin, did all my fringing and then as you cut the fringe you have to twist it, wet it.twist it wet it, and let it dry so that what gave you this beautiful dress. these two are going to be very hard when i part with these cause i love both of them and i don't know which one i love the more, this is the goddess of the night with all the beautiful twilight, moonlight, the big moon here, she holds a crystal in her hand, she has crystal earrings, long black flowing hair, just a nice blanket wrap on her. the dress i left her strictly all rawhide, there is no other dress on her with the exception of the blanketing, and just a little fearthered fan that she would have used when she wasen't working with her crystal magic to fan the fire or what ever she might be doing that night. and so these little goddess women are just something very unique, very appropiate for this time of day, of woman, and magic, and full of things that we are about."
