"Hi, I'm Candi Cane-Canncel, with Expert Village. So what you want to do when you're going to attach your pocket is go about an inch and a half down and about a half inch in from the side. You're just going to go ahead and pin it. Do the same with the other side. Keep in mind you're folding under the sides of the pocket just to get a cleaner edge. Try to make it as straight as possible. Then go ahead and pin it. And then you're going to attach the bottom. So fold it under, and then pin and then the last corner. Sometimes the vinyl's a little tricky to pin just cause it ends up getting so sticky. So if you end up with a little extra corner like that you can just go ahead and trim it and it will be better to go in. Okay and just make sure that it's really flat, and also that you like the positioning of it before you go and stitch it up. A little bit more and then you're ready to stitch on your pocket. "
