"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel for Expert Village. To this measurement, you are going to add roughly three or four inches to each of the measurements. You don't want your camera bag to be to snug so that you can't put your camera in. The next measurement you are going to figure out is strap length. If you want it to have a really long strap then go ahead and put it on your shoulders and figure out where you want the camera bag to hit. In my case, I want it to be a little bit smaller so I'm just going to do a strap roughly to hit about here so it's going to be about 26 inches. You can also could just do something smaller like this, a little handle or you can even just do a little kind of strap that you can just slide your hand down. It's all personal preference but the technique is just going to be the same so I'm going to write down 26 inches as the measurement for my bag strap. "
