You will learn how to measure your camera and strap length, as well as how to turn those measurements into a pattern. After cutting the pattern and stitching the main bag, Candi shows you how to add a pocket and flap to the top. You learn how to make the strap and put it all together. "Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. I'm a clothing designer and sewing instructor based in Los Angeles and I've been sewing for ever. I started sewing when I was 14 years old and the first thing I ever made was a skirt and from there I went on to study fashion design. I majored in costuming and I also was a costumer for a dance troop in Miami Beach then I started my line Candiland which as all independent one of a kind pieces really fun a lot of hand painting and embroidery. Now that I'm in LA, I find myself teaching sewing a lot it seems like more and more people are getting into sewing which I love because I think everyone should sew cause it's so much fun. So today's topic is how to make a camera bag for your digital camera. On this topic, we are going to talk about how to measure your digital camera and also what types of bags that you could make. What kinds of materials are best to use for something like a digital camera and how to make the pattern, how to measure it out, how to sew it together and we are even going to incorporate a really fun little pocket for the outside.
