"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. In this clip I'm going to show you how to prep your zipper. How to pin it in, then get it ready for stitch. The next thing that you do after you already have basted your seam together is you take your zipper you put it on the wrong side of the fabric opening your seam. Take the little zipper head and just flip it upward you are going to place it on the wrong side of the fabric and just go ahead and pin it. Then you are going to take the rest of the zipper and line it up as close as possible to the center seam and even on the front side you can kind of feel it if you put your fingers on either side of the teeth. Then you are going to go ahead and place the pin there and just keep doing this all the way down the length of the zipper. Just making sure as you pin it, that the zipper teeth is lined up with the center seam as straight as possible. Just keep pinning off all the way down to you get to about an inch in a half from the end and that is where we are going to stop."
