"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Exert Village. With appliqués I like to do is actually stitch them on a zigzag stitch. So you are going to change your stitch to a zigzag, in my case it's a C and I'm going to do a fairly small stitch so I'm going to flip it to a 2. Take it to the machine and I'm also using contrasting thread because I think it will just look fun at the end. Line it up and it doesn't really matter where you start you can just start anywhere just as long as you come back around you finish it off in this same spot. Then just go ahead and you are actually stitching so that you catch some of the appliqué and some of the fabric. Slightly turning your fabric as you go. Just be careful not to get your other appliquéd in the way when you are stitching. Then finish off in the same spot once that is done go ahead and take out the pins and you are ready to stitch the second appliqué."
