"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Exert Village. So the next step in making our appliqued pillow is to actually cut out our main fabric. So as I have mentioned I'm using an old skirt that I love and that it doesn't fit any longer. So what you are going to do is measure out 17 X 17 the same way as we did for our insert. So go ahead and measure 17" in this case it has a line going right up the middle so I'm just going to use that as a guide. Place a pin up here and then you are going to measure 17" across once it's pin you can go ahead and cut it out. "
