"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel for Expert Village. I'm a clothing designer and sewing instructor based in Los Angeles. I absolutely love to sew I've been sewing since I was 14 and then went onto study fashion design majoring in Costuming. Then I used to do costumes for a dance strip in Miami Beach and then after that I created my own line called Candi Land; it's a small independent line with all one of a kind pieces that are really fun and a lot of hand painting. Now I find that more and more and teaching sewing which absolutely love because I think everyone should sew. But I think more and more people are wanting to know how to create things by themselves and get back to the handmade. So one of my favorite things to sew is home decor. One of my favorite things to sew is throw pillows, I think throw pillows are such a super fun expensive way to spruce up your decor anytime."
