"On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Allison at Western Art Glass. In this step I'm going to show you to Patina or to change the color of your solder. If in doubt what kind of material or supplies or liquid that you are working with, always wear gloves. You can use gloves like this like natural gloves. You can see how much chemicals and stuff that I use so wear some gloves alright. These are some gloves that I keep around; they last quiet a while. Anyway this is copper Patina. I have cleaned this panel really well, I shake it around a little bit. Super bright copper Patina for solder. So at your local stain glass store they would set you up with the right stuff. So go check them out okay. Just put a little stuff on that it is blue. Because it is copper Patina it does not mean that it is a copper color. Just rubbing on there okay. Keep putting it on there and it does not always go on super super bright. But keep putting on there and keep doing it until you feel that it is good. You get to decide. Just keep rubbing it around. It might take a while to bond. Don't forget to get all your solder joints. Just rub it around now I'm not scrubbing this thing I'm rubbing so don't be to aggressive with it. You can actually break your beautiful creation so be somewhat gentle okay. Try to work flat as best as you can. Turning that around, it is starting to take. In fact I'm like this little aged copper so I can kind of be done with this. Anyway when you are all done put the lid , you should have put the lid on before. Have tons of paper towels around you are going to go through them. Buy in bulk you would need them. So after you are all done scrub this all and get all dried and cleaned off. So in the next step I"m going to show you what to do for the final step. So check it out!"
