"Now at this point the automatic pool cleaner's completely stripped down to its' elemental parts. Now, you would not normally do this with your own cleaner. You'd identify the part that's giving you trouble and replace that specific one, but, for the purposes of demonstration, that's what we did. Now let's start to build it from scratch. First thing you want to do is put in what they call the "medium turbine assembly", it's this piece right over here. In the kit you're going to find this post comes with it. All you want to do on the old one is wiggle the post out and just simply compress the new little stainless steel post in. Here's the actual medium turbine itself, all you're going to do here it goes sprocket side up, and simply to place it in and give it a spin, yeah that's nice, it's spinning very nice. We're going to put that aside as we get the intermediary gears here. Now, in the new kit, and it's nice, everything associated comes in a kit from Hayward, you're not buying pieces like this individually, although I do believe you can, but very rarely when things fail, they fail in systems. We're going to put the bushing in there. As we push it down, you're going to notice that it does protrude from the top a little bit, and from the bottom, that's normal. Now we're going to assemble these two screws as these two gears and sprockets here. They are hexagonal, so that they do lock into place and that's what's going to happen inside of it. So the black one goes up on top to engage this one and the cone, the white one goes on the bottom and I'm going to spin it until it locks and sets home, it should spin. And to make sure that it doesn't go anywhere, I'm going to put a little bitty tiny screw in there. Alright, I'm going to hold this with two fingers in the back and just try to set it home gently, there you go, it's locked in there. You want to make sure that your screw gun is on the lowest torque setting or it's going to send it straight through. From here, all we're going to do now is put on this little gear here, and now, here comes the assembly part. I'm going to hold these with my fingers, now there's a gate here, and I'm going to line that up with this piece. So it's going to be tricky to see, but, it's going to slip right in, and there it is, there's the gate back in place, and now, two small screws, and we're back in business. Once these are set home, again on the lowest setting there, we're going to have a completely reassembled medium turbine assembly, ready for the next step."
