"In this clip, we're going to talk about safety while doing belly casting. For as long as we've been doing belly casting, it's been very important to have certain things available to the pregnant woman, such as cold water. And you want to make sure that you discuss some of these issues with the person that you are casting. You don't want them to lock their knees because they are going to be standing for anywhere between twenty, twenty minutes and possibly an hour, depending on how much of the belly they're going to cast. You also want to make sure you're doing it in a cool place. You have a chair or a counter to lean on. There have been times that the person has gotten dizzy; they've had to sit down. We've had to start castings over again, so make sure that the person is comfortable. There's also. Oh, if it gets too warm, you may want to have a fan nearby. But also remember that this can make the plaster set faster, so kind of guage your speed of casting accordingly. And this was safety issues when you are doing a belly casting."
