"I’m Anna from annawillowglassdesign.30art.com and I’ve just blown this glass Christmas ornament. It is still very hot, it's about 1,000 degrees and I am preparing to put a loop on the top of it after I break it off with the glow pipe. I’ll go over here and give it a little bit of heat just to make sure it’s warm enough that it won’t crack. Meanwhile, my assistant is preparing to gather the loop out of the furnace which he will do now. This is a hot piece of molten glass. I’m going to break this off into this little cradle of kevlar which is where we do the looping. We are going to stick this glass on the very top of it, pull it out a little bit until I get the thickness that I want. I like to make my loops nice and sturdy so that they don’t break too easily during the year when you have them stored in your home. Now that I’ve got the loop finished you can see that it is a perfect little round "
