"Hi I’m Anna from annawillowglassdesign.30art.com and I am going to show you how to make an interesting shaped Christmas ornament using an optic mold. Now I am going to go over here and gather out of the furnace onto the blow pipe. I am actually picking up 2,000 degree glass right now and then I will be putting some color onto that glass by adding some of this chipped up little sandy bits of colored glass that we actually have made for us at a factory in Europe. Then I will melt in that color inside of the glory hold here which is about 2,000 degrees. It’s fired by gas, propane gas and now that the color is all melted in, I’ll shape and begin the blowing process. I’m shaping and now I am going to blow into it the air. Once it travels down to the end of the pipe, it is going to be so hot that it will expand all by itself without me having to blow any further. "
