Video Transcript

"Hi I’m Anna from Annawillowglassdesign.30art.com on behalf of Expert Village.com, I welcome you. I am here to tell you a little bit about glass blowing today. I’ve been blowing glass for about 12 years. After I finished my apprenticeship which is normally how glass blowers learn how, I kind of went out on my own and started making glass for other people. Now I am doing a job that is called gaffing. So other people hired me with their designs and I create them for them and I have an apprentice whose name is Brandon and he’s right over there. So Brandon has been apprenticing with me for almost a year now and his apprenticeship will last the traditional 7 years before he becomes a journeyman gaffer himself. "
