" Hi this is Andrew Jenkins on behalf of expertvillage.com. Now in this clip I'm going to be telling you how to make a little duck out of pipe cleaners. Now what you are going to need for this are two 12 inch long white pipe cleaners and one 12 inch long orange pipe cleaner. Now you take your first white pipe cleaner. Take a pencil and start wrapping it around maintaining try to get it kind of flush up against it so you have a relatively tight coil. Just go ahead and do that all the way the length of the pipe cleaner and then once that you have that. Slide it right off and you could sort of unroll and just a little bit to give it a irregular shape. This works good with most animals that don't look nice and perfect with right angles. That is what nature like. You take your orange piece of pipe cleaner this is going to serve as both the beak and the legs. Fold it in half. So you got about 6 inches on either side and fold over the top of it. So that is going to be your beak that little nudge right there. Now take your white coiled and go ahead and slide it in about two coils down to the orange one and slide it all the way down. So up here you got the beak sticking out and then at the bottom you got your two legs that you would eventually turn into feet. We could actually turn them into to feet right now. I'm going to coil them back and make and twist it off so I got a little loop at the bottom of either side. Once that is twisted off then you could bend them forward and put whatever shape that you want and you got these two little duck feet. Now our last pipe cleaner that is going to be used for the wings. I'm going to go ahead and make a very basic loop. I will bend it over. Twist it off so I got two loops on either end and again these could be shaped to whatever sort of bird shape. If you want to make a pelican or a seagull or something or a chicken or something that is not like a duck you could have a lot of fun with that. It is all in the wing shape. Once you get that in there you just attach it to the back. You could give it a little twist and there you got a nice little pipe cleaner duck."
