How to Make a Pipe Cleaner Person

" Hi this is Andrew Jenkins on behalf of expertvillage.com. Now in this clip I'm going to be showing you how to make pipe cleaner crafts specifically how to make a nice little pipe cleaner little person that you can then accessories and then I show you how to accessories it in a few later clips. Now first what you are going to want to do is create the bases for the pipe cleaner pipe cleaner person torso. Take one standard 12 inch pipe cleaner twist in, bend it over the middle and coil it so you have a little loop at the top and then go down about half the remaining length. Twisting that off just like this and you want to kind of leave it loose at the bottom. Now what you are going to want to do with another pipe cleaner is take it and coil it around a pencil. Fairly tightly. This is going to be the torso of the pipe cleaner if you want to make it a little fatter pipe cleaner person you could coil it around a highlighter or something that has a little bit larger diameter then a pencil. But just slide that right off and take it down the two loose ends and slide it right through there and put it right like that so you got that to coil the top. The torso coiled here and you got these down sticking down in the bottom. These are going to be your legs. You've also going to also going to make some arms. Go ahead and take another pipe cleaner and put it out by the neck of the person. Put it right through that loop and give it a little twist. So you got the arms sticking in there they won't go anywhere and try to line them up sort of the same plan of the legs. So you got it looking symmetrical just like people do. Bend over each one of these and sort off coil it down to the bottom and each little loop that you create is going to be a hand. Do the same thing to the other side. Okay and for the legs I'm going to go ahead and create her feet which I'm just going to create a loop with the little loose end that we got. Twist it off and bend it. Do the same thing over here. Twist it off and bend it. If you want to create little knees or something you want to make him look like he is running you are more then welcome to. The one last piece that is missing is the pipe cleaner mans head. Now I take a one last piece of pipe cleaner coil it around a highlighter for this example and I would put the coil over itself I would even go down to leg thing it cause I want it to be kind of a clump pipe cleaner. Once I get that I just coil it a little bit more to make sort of tighter and get it to a spherical shape. Alright once that I have that I go ahead and take the one loose end of it. Put it right through the coil the top of my pipe cleaner man and twist that off. So it fits to the bottom. Then there you go you got your nice little pipe cleaner person ready to be accessories."
