"We have been going through a selection of glass to pick out our choice for our next art piece and I wanted to share with you specifically about Glue Chip. If you have been doing glass anytime or for any length of time you already know about Glue Chip. If you haven't, it's probably one of the cheapest glasses that you can buy and it's used in a lot of different things so it's a very versatile glass. The reason it is called Glue Chip is because it's apart of how it's made, it's a process. There's a glue that's placed on the glass and then chipped off of there and or just removed and it leaves these really nice chip textures on the other side. This is the clear side, the side that you would cut and if you turn it a look at this side you can see all the nice crevices and it's it just looks kind of like ferns growing or like snowflakes. It's got this really unique pattern, there's a larger Glue Chip which gives you these larger variations and there's a smaller Glue Chip as well that you can chose but this is the red and I wanted to share with you another color. This is the peacock, these kind of blues, greens, reds, clears and it's a wonderful wonderful piece of glass to work with."
