How to Finish an Edge of a Table Runner

"Hi I am Terri Turco with Expert Village and now I am going to show you how to finish an edge without a sewing machine. It is basically turning over the sides twice. Do not be intimidated. You do have a raw edge here and it is a straight edge and all you are going to do is you are going to eyeball it. You can do this. You just turn it over and use your iron, pull the frabric down from the side and just keep pulling and using the iron as you go. That is turning it over once. We are going to go all the way down to the very end. As you can see we have done a lot of this already. That is one side. Now turn and to give it a full smooth finish you just want to turn it over one more time. Now since I started at the other end I am going to flip this over to make it equal distance and as you can see I have already started turning it over on this side and we are going to just follow through with the same line. You want to pull it and iron and it gives it a really good raised edge. "
