"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. We have moved to the ironing board here so we would press the seams open. The top part of our decorative runner has been assembled, sewn, the pieces have been sewn together. We want to make sure that these seams are pressed down laid flat so when we sew the gimp trim on we would have a nice flat surface from the top side. I'm using just a plain white handkerchief to press with cause I don't want my iron to stick to the fabric that might be a little delicate. That should just about do it and I would move down to th side and press it flat. While we are working here, we would go ahead and press the center piece together rid of any crease that where there. Before we start the project. That is it our trim is ready for the trim. "
