"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. Today we are making a decorative table runner. We have assembled the pieces, lined them up in the order that we want to sew them. We have began by sewing the floral to the leopard print. We have now pinned the light weight suede fabric that would be the center piece to the leopard print and we are ready to sew that section. Again I'm using a half inch seam allowance. I always like to reinforce the edge so it would not separate it and start coming apart from me later. Always a good idea. Some fabrics are a little bit slippery to sew on this light weight suede that I'm using has a slick backing. It is moving a little bit slower then usual. I have to make sure I get a nice straight line. That takes care of that seam and we would continue sewing the pieces together in the next clip. "
