Tips on Grinding for a Spiral Staircase

" Hi! I am Weldon Moon on behalf of Expertvillage.com. I would like to show you the next step in building the spiral staircase. First I would like to mention the importance of welding on the spiral. We have showed tacking it together and we have tacked the whole thing together before we made any welds on the whole thing and that helps keep everything aligned and in place. So that is a very important part and then once you have got everything tacked together and everything in place then go ahead and weld out everything and all the joints. At that point take things apart and any braces that you may have on it. Then at that point we need to grind. Importance of the grinder, a good grinding desk, have a backing pad on your desk and a soft desk. Which gives you a lot of smoother grinding and so at that point go down and clean up your spiral and grind all the points and just make it smooth. "
