" Hi! I am Weldon Moon on behalf of Expertvillage.com. Steps to building the spiral staircase. We have put the rail on, the top rail on and we have set that with some braces. At our desired radius, which is 34 inches from the post out to the edge. So we have done that up close to the top and now we are going to start rolling the pickets in and leveling them up. We will start and I will give you an example of what we are doing here. Just put the picket on every one that connects the steps together and that spaces that out evenly. Then I come back and fill the others in after tacking them in place. So that is what we will do at this point. Go ahead and tack some of those in and just give you an idea what we are doing. Then it is just a matter of repeating the process until we finish it all the way to the top. "
