"Hi, my name is Wes on behalf of Expert Village.com and in this video segment I am going to talk to you about different types of animals that you can put inside of your terrarium. If you want to know about terrariums and carnivorous plants you can visit us at equilibriocarnivorousplants.com. So once you have your terrarium planted, watered and well established, you can think about the kind of animals that you want to put inside of your terrarium. Now choosing the right type of animal is a lot like choosing the right type of plant to put inside of your terrarium. You want to make sure that the living requirements for the animal that you choose are similar to the conditions that you have inside of your terrarium. This includes the right kind of humidity, the right kind of watering requirements and also the heat temperature as well as the light. Now perfect type of animals for terrariums are things like frogs and other small reptiles and even some type of snakes; things like Gecko’s and other amphibians like newts as well. In this terrarium is especially perfect for frogs because they require a high degree of humidity and warm conditions. An advantage of this particular type of terrarium is that you can remove the screen top without really risking any of your animals that are inside of this from jumping out. Now the perfect type of food for frogs and for carnivorous plants like these and nepenthes are fruit flies. Once we remove this top we can dump the fruit flies inside of the container and feed our animal and our plants at the same time. After we have done this we want to make sure to secure the top on as soon as possible to prevent the animal or the flies from escaping. "
