"Forming orchid hybrids is fairly a simple process and it involves nothing more sophisticated than a tooth pick. If you go into the flower of a plant and you lift the pollen off and you put the pollen from the polunia point of origin right underneath because the form of orchid has both male and female paths on one structure. In many cases, it can be done at an agricultural level. For example, that vanilla that you have in your vanilla ice cream comes from someone walking down a row of vanilla plant and taking their thumb and forefinger and just twisting it so that the polunia goes into the plant and pollinates. It can be done very easily. Once you get the idea and remember and know what the structure of the plant is, it is a piece of cake. "
