"Let's have a look inside some of the red heirlooms. These are Anna Russian Heirloom tomatoes, very needy, very few seeds, slice through this, very few seed there. This is a sweet, nice meaty texture to it, slices well, delicious. There's a Rose de Barne, another rich full flavor, slices well. This is a Brandywine, generally considered the best tasting tomato, a nice balance of acids, sugars, put one slab of these on your sandwich and you're set to go. These are delicious. Some of the disadvantages of the Heirlooms is you'll get mis-shapen fruit, unless you're trying to sell them retail at market, it's not too much of a problem. I just slice right through any problem like that, and just take that right off. Still a lot of good tomato in there. This is a Marmande, slightly orangish, pink inside, isn't that gorgeous. That's some dry spots, it's very good for salsa."
